Terms of Service

The service
SelfInterview provides AI-generated mock interview practice: a live spoken interview based on your resume and target role, followed by an AI-generated scorecard and improvement plan. It's a practice tool, not a guarantee of real interview outcomes, and the feedback is generated by AI — treat it as a strong signal, not infallible ground truth.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for the accuracy of the resume and job information you submit. Don't submit anyone else's personal or confidential information without their permission.
Payments and subscriptions
New accounts get 15 minutes of live interview time free. Beyond that, you can either buy single interview credits or subscribe for a monthly allowance of practice minutes. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; you can cancel anytime and retain access until the end of the current billing period. Payments are processed by Paddle. Refund requests are handled case-by-case — contact us.
Acceptable use
Don't use the service to harass, abuse, or impersonate others; attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the platform; or submit unlawful content. We can suspend accounts that violate this.
Recordings and content
If recording is enabled for your session, we store the audio and transcript so you can review it later. You own your own interview content; we use it only to provide and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is." We don't guarantee any particular interview or hiring outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
