What we collect

  • Account details (name, email) via our authentication provider, Clerk.
  • Resume text and job descriptions/target-role details you provide for practice.
  • Audio recordings and transcripts of your practice interviews, if recording is enabled.
  • Interview scores, feedback, and reports generated from your sessions.
  • Payment and subscription status via our payment processor, Paddle — we never see or store your card details.
  • Your IP address, briefly, when using tools that don't require an account (like our public readiness-check tool) — used only to prevent abuse.

How we use it

To run your practice interviews, generate your scorecards and improvement plans, let you track progress over time, process payments, and improve the product. We don't sell your data.

Who we share it with

Service providers that power specific features, each only receiving what they need to do their job:

  • Anthropic — processes resume/job-description text and interview transcripts to generate questions, scores, and feedback.
  • LiveKit, Deepgram, and ElevenLabs — power the live voice conversation (real-time audio transport, speech-to-text, text-to-speech).
  • Clerk — authentication and account management.
  • Paddle — payment processing and subscription billing.
  • Cloud storage (S3-compatible) — stores interview audio recordings, access-controlled and only reachable through short-lived signed links.
  • Sentry — error monitoring, so we can detect and fix crashes. Receives technical details like browser/device info and the page you were on, not your interview content.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your interview history so you can track progress over time. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your data, and export your interview history, by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like GDPR or CCPA.

Cookies

We use cookies required for authentication (via Clerk) and for basic site functionality. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.
